Japanese Philanthropy

I think that this story is worth commenting on. I'm not entirely sure what my comment is yet, but I do think it's positive. Hmmm...check back tomorrow for more...

He is just trying to catch eye balls from the public. If he really wanted to help the poor, why not give away his "pocket money" to some charity which can help more people than just one those stays in his house. Also, the homeless lady has income, but there are others who has no job, no money at all, why not help them?

It should be noted that this realestate giant is known for evicting hundreds of residents with just 30 days notice to cash in on selling his properties at the right time. Some even speculate that he is simply allowing poor families to move into wealthy neighbourhoods to drive the price of the surrounding homes down so they can be bought for a cheaper price. Although this story sounds good I fear that he is more exploting the poor than helping them.
